CMaking a Difference:  October is breast cancer awareness month.  Join us for an educational session that will go beyond the basics and include how to properly perform a self-breast exam, the use of breast models to identify how to detect abnormalities and information about the latest statistics, screenings (mammograms & 3D mammograms etc.) and community resources for treatment and support.  Choose the date and site most convenient for you!  All sessions are on Tuesdays at 6:00pm-7:00pm.

What’s the 411: Healthy Holidays with Diabetes

November and December typically mark the beginning of the holiday season. This means that many people travel, spend time with family and friends, and have a good time. Some people may feel that diabetes gets in the way during the holiday season. They feel like they have to choose between enjoying themselves or taking care of their diabetes. However, it doesn’t have to be that way. Join this presentation for strategies for healthy holidays with diabetes. A light lunch will be provided.
