Donna Murphy joined the Durham County Department of Public Health in August 2013 as an Administrative Assistant in Personnel Services. With over 30 years of experience in local government, she has committed herself to public service.

Before her role in Durham County, Donna worked for two years with the Forsyth County Environmental Assistance & Protection Department in North Carolina. Prior to that, she spent 19 years in Palm Beach County, Florida, where she served as a Payroll and Human Resource Administrator across various departments, including Library, Fire Rescue, and Parks and Recreation.

Donna’s extensive background in administration has provided valuable support to all areas of Public Health, enhancing the department's operations.
