Micah Guindon joined Durham County Department of Public Health in 2023. Prior to Durham County, Micah held multiple positions in neighboring Orange County, including as the Director of Finance and Administrative Services at the Health Department, the Finance Manager at Social Services, and Research Analyst for the Human Service Departments focusing on food access and transportation for low income residents. Micah’s early career in education as a classroom teacher solidified her commitment to public service. 

Micah holds a Master’s of Public Administration from UNC-Chapel Hill, a Bachelor’s of Science in Community & Justice Studies as well as Education from Guilford College, and a Certificate of Nonprofit Management from Duke University.
