Marissa Mortiboy has served as the Population Health Director since November 2020. Prior to this position, Marissa served in Partnership for a Healthy Durham Coordinator and Communications Specialist roles with the Durham County Department of Public Health. Throughout her public health career of nearly 20 years, she has worked in a variety of areas including strategic planning, community engagement, coalition building and maintenance, interpreting and sharing data with the community, developing health reports and policy development.

Marissa received a Master of Public Health in Community Health Education from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville. She received her Bachelor of Science at Southern Illinois University at Carbondale in Health Care Management.
